2. What type of service activity would be ideal to meet learning outcomes for the course? 
3. What are the roles/responsibilities for the faculty member and the community partner (i.e., orientation, supervision/monitoring of the service experience)? 
4. Will the students undertake direct service with specific populations or project-based work? 
5. What community need will you be addressing? 

Plan and Prepare: Identify the service and learning goals. Create an action plan.

Project Considerations:

1. What specific learning outcomes will the service-learning activity fulfill?
2. Are the service-learning expectations clearly stated on the syllabus?
3. How will the service-learning hours for the course be allocated? Hours should be awarded for each component of the Service-Learning Framework.
4. What is the timeline for the service project?
5. How will students be grouped for the project (individually, small groups, entire class)?
6. When will Service-Learning Registration Forms and Attendance Logs be distributed to and collected from students?
7. What resources are needed before, during, and after project implementation?
