Act: Implement the service activity.
Reflect: Determine when students will have an opportunity to make connections between their service experience and their classroom learning. Reflection occurs before, during, and after the service experience. Reflection activities are linked to the learning outcomes and evaluated by the instructor. Reflection may include online discussion forums, essays, research papers, personal journals, photo collages, exams, and artistic interpretations to name a few.
Demonstrate/Celebrate: Decide how students will share what has been learned from their participation in the service-learning experience.
